Since its inception, the All India Bakchod (AIB) group has time and again proved its A game at creating content. Unless you live under a rock or you’re new to the planet, you must be familiar with AIB’s quirky tongue in cheek approach in its YouTube videos.
Many in the digital space today often find themselves in an uncomfortable spot when integrating a brand. Either the product placement becomes as obvious as incest in Game of Thrones or fails to receive adequate light like an actress paired with Salman Khan in a movie.
The challenge lies in getting the balancing act right, and in that endeavour, AIB seems to have hit the nail. In its latest video titled Apps That Should Exist – Févént, AIB came up with an app for fake weddings and events designed to “vasool” your expensive outfits, the one’s you spend half your salary on and end up using no more than once. Sounds like dream come true, no? But watch the video and you witness them slipping in benefits of using Flyrobe– an online clothing rental store.
By now you realise its clever product placement, so far so good BUT wait till they tell you to download the Févént app, yes they claim they’ve created an app to cater to your outfit usage needs. (You know, something’s fishy.) The curious cat in me couldn’t help but check!
I downloaded the app and what I found is GENIUS! Take a look at the photos below:

P.S: Other than a script and execution that was downright funny, AIB this time went a step ahead by poking the curious cat in us. Content creators, take notes! Until next time, #StayCurious
