Internet PDA: I Love My Blog

Internet PDA: I Love My Blog

I take the baton of Blog Love from Kadambari from the Blogchatter community and on this occasion of the official mush day aka Valentine’s day, I decided to go on an absolute internet PDA for whom I love the most. If you’re still guessing, I’m gonna let it straight out, my blog! (You should have guessed it though :P)

If you’re a blogger like me, you’re totally in a pool of #Feels, I can see you extend your hand for a virtual high-five.  But if you’re not a blogger, that’s perhaps even better because then I can tell you my tale of ‘From Blog to Boyfriend to Purpose of life.’ (No, exaggerating here, just a little humour or not…)

Internet PDA: I Love My Blog
Meet the protagonist

As I tell my tale, I know I’m speaking on behalf of many bloggers that are out there…

A blog and blogger’s journey is much like a relationship  ideal relationship.(Because unlike guys, our blog surprises and rewards us with compliments in the comments section, it even listens to us and more so let’s us rectify our mistakes under an edit option)

My relationship with my blog started when it first asked me out, “Are you ready to publish your first post?” And there, we nervously made our first public appearance together sharing our thoughts on the WEBSERA takeover in India. And you know what was the outcome? We won the People’s choice award for #BestJodi B-)

The award(readers’ validation) made it clear to me that the blog was better than any of my previous relationships, and from then on there was no looking back, I shamelessly started asking the blog out every day and made public appearances with it like a queen who has time for nothing but her kingdom.

I often caught the envy of my friends’ and families’ eyes because I was spending (I still continue to) spend more time with the blog than them, but they obviously didn’t get it. True love commands and deserves for that kind of attention.

And you know what, mine and blog’s relationship is? #Goals! The fact that we can’t do without each other but still give each other enough space to never get enough of each other. (That sounds like a tongue twister but a tried and tested solution to successful relationships, mark my words on that.)

Internet PDA: I Love My Blog
Right?

Now finally I should tell you about the third stage of our relationship how the blog became my purpose of life. After I realised that I could communicate with it about anything under the sun, I learnt that many others seemed to think like us and they showered their unconditional love time and again and we went on to receive accolades for our brilliant chemistry. I’m gonna share a final secret that’s gonna make everybody envious, the more I give to the blog, the even more it has in return for me. Now tell me isn’t it fair to say, “My bae better than yours?” 😀

That concludes my mush tale and now I pass on the baton of Blog Love to Aseem .

P.S: Who needs a boyfriend when there’s a blog? Until next time, #StayCurious 🙂

  1. Blogging introduces yourself to the world. It causes you to articulate the life you live and the worldview behind the decisions that you make. Whether you have 1 reader or 10,000, the blogging process opens up your life to those on the outside. It is a good exercise in human-existence to be known by others. Over time, you’ll reveal more and more of yourself to the outside world… and you’ll be excited to find a world that relates to you and enjoys hearing your story.
