As we waltz through our days between creating and curating content, making/answering calls and pretty much feeling the need to clone ourselves amidst multiple meetings and events (Don’t we all wish we could clone ourselves on frantic days?) Our level of stress tends to see an upward rise, we’re sure you can relate to this (The invisible meter in our minds does measure and calculate our stress levels.)
Among the many perils of stress, the worst one has to be the fact that it interferes with your productivity, right? Meditation sounds like a great idea, but not always a possible solution. Besides, let’s admit it we can look pretty funny zoning into meditation at work 😛
But guess what, technology seems to have all the answers, it has helped us unwind in the middle and at the end of hectic days with this hack! What you ask? Read to find out our hack to unwinding in 2018
Arena Of Valor – A smartphone compatible game
Just a couple of days back when we were browsing through apps on our phone, we stumbled upon Arena Of Valor, a game available for download. Although we weren’t quite sure what was in store for us, our curiosity like always took precedence and led us into downloading and experiencing this fun Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) developed by Tencent Games.
After reading up about it, we learnt that it’s already a popular game, released globally in 2015 when it was developed by Timi Studio Group and published by Tencent Games and now has made its way to India in 2018 as well.
What we loved about Arena Of Valor (AOV)
Whenever someone has said gaming, we’ve generally imagined larger than life systems, housing our desks for its functionality but the fact that the makers took into account smartphone users like you and us, really makes us happy. This 5v5 multiplayer game features a skilfully crafted graphics output which includes traverse, a classic three-lane arena filled with nooks and crannies between towers. The players need to team up to control fantastical heroes and carve their way through jungles, lanes, and towers, draw first blood and destroy the enemy Core.
How Arena of Valor helped us unwind
Given that it is full of its share of challenges and rewards (Much like life) you tend to strategise, work closely with your team players and learn a lot along the course. Before you even realise, you’ve picked up and implemented some skills into your own life from this super fun mental exercise.
We personally experienced that taking a mid-day break with our friends playing AOV, helped us stride through the day with more clarity and rejuvenation.
Whom do we recommend it to?
Although we recommend it to pretty much everyone, we specifically recommend it to women, a group of friends, corporates. If you’re a woman wanting to discover the gaming world, this is a great start and once you’ve participated in this MOBA, there’s no going back because you’re going to love it! Gather your bunch of ladies and let the game begin (Literally)
For a group of friends, not only is it a great way to spend some time together, it’s also a brilliant bonding exercise and it’s always fun to witness everyone’s competitive streak come alive 😀
And as for corporates, this could make for a great tournament amongst several groups, helping in team building, coordination and thinking on the feet.
